The Rosary with Audio Guidance

The audio-assisted Rosary is a prayer service designed to accompany you in praying the complete Holy Rosary: an unhurried voice, a subtle Gregorian background and respectful silences to meditate on each mystery.

This feature is in preparation. In the meantime, you can follow the complete Rosary script here and pray it at your own pace.

How it will work

  • A single screen, a single button: Begin Rosary.
  • The mysteries of the day according to the weekly calendar (joyful, luminous, sorrowful, glorious).
  • A warm voice, an unhurried pace, no performance.
  • Gregorian background at 15-20% volume, adjusted to the liturgical season.
  • A visual bead counter that advances with each Hail Mary.
  • An automatic pause between decades to meditate in silence.
  • An optional final offering: you can dedicate the Rosary to an intention of your own.

No ads, no popups, no login, no gamification. Technology at the service of prayer.

Distribution of the Rosary by days

As Saint John Paul II indicates in Rosarium Virginis Mariae (n. 38):

  • Monday and Saturday: the Joyful Mysteries.
  • Tuesday and Friday: the Sorrowful Mysteries.
  • Wednesday and Sunday: the Glorious Mysteries.
  • Thursday: the Luminous Mysteries.

Complete script of the prayer

1. The Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

2. Act of contrition

Let us place ourselves in the presence of God. Let us recall that we stand before the Father, and let us ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to accompany us in this prayer.

3. The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary…

4. The Our Father and three Hail Marys

Three Hail Marys for the increase of the theological virtues: Faith, Hope and Charity. Then the Glory Be is prayed.

5. For each of the five mysteries of the day

  1. Announcement of the mystery (e.g.: “The First Glorious Mystery: the Resurrection of the Lord”).
  2. A brief Scripture reading related to the mystery.
  3. Meditation of 1-2 minutes in silence.
  4. The Our Father.
  5. Ten Hail Marys.
  6. Glory Be.
  7. The Fátima Prayer: “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of your mercy.”

6. Closing Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve…

7. Offering

I offer this Rosary for the intentions of the Holy Father, for the peace of the world, for the sick, and for all the souls who are most in need of God’s mercy.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Approximate duration

A complete Rosary of five decades lasts between 17 and 22 minutes depending on the pace: unhurried, normal or contemplative. The quality of prayer is not measured in minutes, but it is good to seek a steady pace, neither rushed nor drowsy.

The assisted Rosary is a service, not a spectacle. Technology is at the service of prayer, and prayer at the service of the encounter with Mary and, through her, with Christ.
