Mariette Beco saw the Virgin of the poor.
Mariette Beco, an 11-year-old girl with a poor family, saw the Virgin eight times between January and March 1933. The Virgin presented herself as the Virgin of the Poor.

The apparitions were approved by the Bishop of Namur in 1949. The Bannux shrine receives thousands of pilgrims each year.
