Five children saw the Virgin of the heart of gold.
Five children from Beauraing saw the Virgin 33 times between November 1932 and January 1933. The Virgin appeared to them next to a thorn in the garden of a convent.
The most memorable feature of these apparitions is that the Virgin showed them her heart of gold in the chest. The children described a bright heart that lattered.
The apparitions were approved by the Bishop of Namur in 1949. The Beauraing shrine receives thousands of pilgrims each year.
