The Nassau Cathedral is dedicated to St. Francis Javier and is the oldest Catholic church in the Bahamas (consecrated in 1887). The Marian presence of the city is embodied in the parish of Our Lady of the Holy Souls and the Queen of Peace Church.

- The Cathedral of San Francisco Javier, the seat of the Archdiocese of Nassau, is the oldest Catholic church in the archipelago and was the Jubilee Church of the Holy Year 2025.
