The Virgin Mary has been a unifying element for the Catholic community in Azerbaijan where Marian faith has been transmitted from parents to children as a spiritual treasure that strengthens Christian identity in a sometimes difficult context.
The Marian celebrations in Azerbaijan are moments of great joy and encounter for the Catholic community. The feast of the Marian holiday brings together thousands of faithful from all over the country who come to the main temple to honor the Virgin Mary with songs and prayers.
