His life
Bartolo Longo was born on February 10, 1841 in Latiano, Italy. He was a lawyer and, after a life of sin, he became and devoted his life to spreading the Rosary.
His work
I arrived in Pompeii in 1872 and began to preach the Rosary. I build the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii, one of the most important in Italy.
His death
He died on 5 October 1926 in Pompeii, at the age of 85. He was beatified by John Paul II in 1980.
