Ntra. Mrs. de la Santa Esperanza - The Diocese of Mandeville
The Catholic seat of Mandeville is the cathedral of St. Paul of the Cross, attended by the passionists. The Marian heart of the local Church is the patronage of the diocese, entrusted to Our Lady of Holy Hope.

- The diocese of Mandeville was erected as apostolic vicariate in 1991 and raised to diocese in 1997; it covers Manchester, Clarendon and St. Elizabeth.
- His patron is Our Lady of Holy Hope; the cathedral also attends the mission church of Our Lady of Hope in Williamsfield.
- The Cathedral of St. Paul of the Cross is served by the Passionist missionaries.
- His current bishop, John Derek Persaud, from Guyana, was ordained in the cathedral itself in 2020.
