In the mountains of Yunnan, Catholic pastors say that the Virgin appears in the morning fog. They see her walking through the clouds, with a golden light around her.
The shepherds say that when the Virgin appears, the cattle calm down and the storms turn away. Every morning, before going out to pasture, they pray the Rosary and look at the fog looking for the Virgin.
Tradition has been transmitted from generation to generation, although communist persecution made the open practice of faith difficult.
