Marian devotion

The full Korean title
The Episcopal Conference of Korea is a patron of God’s Word. The expression does not simply mean "Mary" or "a parish that prays the Rosary": it explicitly appoints the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Rosary.
The official record also confirms the membership of the Archdiocese of Daegu, the date of foundation and the direction. This is therefore a documented parish advocation, without the need to attribute to the place an apparition or a range of sanctuary that do not contain.
A parish founded in 1978
The community was erected 4 January 1978. The episcopal directory documents the collaboration of the Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
His life is developed in Pohang, a city open to the East Sea and marked by port, industry and work. In the midst of demanding rhythms, the Rosary offers a time of memory, silence and trust.
The Rosary is contemplation of Christ
St. John Paul II defined the Rosary as a prayer of deeply Christological orientation. Each mystery leads to looking at Jesus in the events of his incarnation, public life, passion and glory.

The glorious mysteries keep hope open. Prayer is not a substitute for prevention, fair working conditions and care for the injured, but rather a means of taking on those responsibilities.
The Rosary and the Peace of Korea
The serene repetition of prayer can first disarm the heart of those who pray. To ask for peace requires learning to listen, to renounce the dehumanization of the adversary and to work for a reconciliation based on truth.
Deoksu can especially entrust families separated by the division of the peninsula and those who support meeting paths.
