The exact title: Queen of Fatima
The Conferencia Episcopal de Corea registers el patronazgo como Mom and son"Queen of Fatima." The formulation is more specific than the usual expression "Our Lady of Fatima" and is fully preserved.
The document also confirms the diocese, the direction and the date of the foundation. It does not attribute a Marian apparition to Daejeon.
A parish since 1966
The community was erected 10 March 1966. The episcopal directory documents the collaboration of the Sisters of the Holy Family.
Religious and parish life makes a universal vocation in local service to families, the sick, the elderly and young.
The Portuguese origin
The Shrine of Fatima places the apparitions of 1917 in Cova da Iria to Lucía dos Santos, Francisco Marto and Jacinta Marto. The Church examined the events before declaring them credible.
