The title Queen of Peace
The Church invokes Mary as Queen of Peace because she is the Mother of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, and because her life leads entirely to Him. He is not given a separate source of peace from God: his intercession guides the reconciliation that is born of Christ.
The title became part of the laurean litany in the context of World War I. Since then, he has especially accompanied prayer in the face of wars, family divisions and social conflicts.
A parish of the diocese of Chuncheon
Gangchon belongs to the municipality of Chuncheon and ecclesially to his diocese. The national register places the parish in Namsan-myeon and offers an exact founding date.
