Marian devotion

Invocation is part of the name
The Korean Episcopal Conference does not simply record "Daechi." His official Korean name is Skills, that is, "Daechi Nativity of Mary," and the patronage reappears as Sophia Lynn.
This double mention makes it possible to identify Marian dedication with certainty. The English name "Daechi-3 Catholic Church" responds to a territorial numbering and should not hide the Korean devotional name.
A parish founded the day after the feast
The parish was erected 9 September 2004. The Church celebrates the Nativity of the Virgin on the 8th; the proximity of both dates makes her dedication especially expressive, although the source does not state that the choice of the day would obey that reason.
