The Episcopal Conference of Korea records as the patronage of Galma-dong The Lord's Birthliterally the announcement of the Lord's birth. It is the Christological formulation of the mystery known in Spanish as the Annunciation of the Lord or Annunciation to the Virgin Mary.

The Annunciation of the Lord

The angel's greeting begins with an invitation to joy. Before asking for an answer, God offers His grace and assures His presence.
Faith is not born of feeling capable of everything. It grows by recognizing a gift received and by trusting that the mission does not depend solely on its own forces.
Mary's question
Mary asks how the announced will happen. His question is not rejection, but discernment. True listening does not eliminate intelligence or force it to pretend that everything is clear.
A community inspired by the Annunciation must welcome questions, protect consciousness and accompany without coercion. Consent has value because it's free.
A "yes" that becomes service
"Be done in me according to your word" expresses active availability. After the announcement, Mary leaves to help Elizabeth: the grace received puts her on her way to another person.
The parish can live this mystery by accompanying difficult pregnancies, vulnerable, older, sick families and those who first arrive in the neighborhood.
