There is no Marian apparition linked to the site. Boksan is a parish dedicated to Mother Dolorosa, not a sanctuary of extraordinary phenomena.
A parish founded in 1956
The community was erected 26 April 1956, a few years after the Korean war and before the great industrial expansion of Ulsan.
