Thirty years before being a parish
The organized presence began on 23 November 1967 as a mission dependent on the parish of Ulsan. For more than three decades, the small community maintained its life of faith before becoming an autonomous parish.
The episcopal directory fixed its parish erection on October 17, 1998. The two dates designate different stages: the birth of the mission and the constitution of the parish.
Three years to raise a temple
The project to build the current building began in 2008. After three years of work, it was consecrated on 4 September 2011 by Bishop Paul Hwang Cheol-soo.
The temple has three floors: community and training spaces in the first, church in the second and priestly residence in the third. Its built area is about 1,226 square meters.
