The parish was erected 13 June 2017. His Korean name Gangbyeon refers to the coastal environment of Mass.

Why Mary is Mother of God
The Church calls Mary the Mother of God because Jesus Christ, whom she conceived and gave birth according to the flesh, is one divine person.
The title does not mean that Mary is before God or the origin of divinity. He claims who his Son is: true God and true man.
The unity of Christ
The Catechism recalls that the divine and human natures are united in the only person of the Word. Mary is the mother of that person, not only of a separate human part.
