El 13 de julio de 1917, la Virgen abrió sus manos y una luz salió de ellas que se abrió como un abismo. Los tres videntes vieron un mar de fuego donde caían almas con forma humana. Los demonios revoloteaban como negras brasas. Jacinta gritó: «¡Esto es el infierno! ¡Cómo sufren!». Lucía describió almas que caían una y otra vez, sin descanso.
This vision deeply marked the three seers. Jacinta never stopped praying for sinners, and Lucia dedicated her life to spreading the message of Fatima.
