In Manaoag, in Pangasinan province, one of the most important Marian shrines in the Philippines is located. The image of the Rosary was brought by the Dominicans in 1610.
The miracles of Manaoag
Tradition tells that the Virgin of Manaoag has worked many miracles: cures, protections in accidents and conversions. The faithful come from all over the country to ask for the intercession of the Virgin.
In 1926, the image was crowned canonically by Pope Pius XI. Every third Sunday of October, thousands of pilgrims celebrate the feast of the Rosary.
