Pure Heart of Mary of Manado - The Cathedral of Cellebes
The cathedral of the diocese of Manado, in the north of the island of Cilebes, is dedicated to the Purso Heart of Mary. The original temple was erected in 1932 and was consecrated in 1933; it became a cathedral in 1961, and the current building was opened on April 10, 2010 by the Apostolic Nuncio Leopoldo Girelli.

- The book of baptisms of the parish has been preserved since September 14, 1868, a testimony of a Catholic community well before the present temple.
- The building opened in 2010 combines three architectural traditions: Byzantine, Romanesque and Gothic.
- It has been a cathedral since January 3, 1961, when the diocese of Manado was erected as a suffranea of the metropolitan headquarters of Makassar.
- He was appointed a Jubilee Church of the Holy Year 2025, with the opening of the Holy Gate for pilgrims.
