Apparition with stigmas, weeping statue, prophetic messages. Permitted by the Church.
In 1973, sister Agnes Sasagawa, a deaf nun, saw that a wooden statue of the Virgin shed tears. The statue cried 101 times. Stigmas also appeared in the hands of Sister Agnes.
La Virgen le transmitió tres mensajes. El tercero advertía sobre un castigo a la humanidad si no se arrepentía. «Rezad mucho el Rosario. Solo yo puedo salvarte de las calamidades que se acercan.»
In 1982, Sister Agnes suddenly recovered his ear. In 1984, the bishop of Niigata authorized the veneration. Cardinal Ratzinger (future Pope) said that events should be taken seriously.
