The Virgin of the Gardens
The image of Our Lady of the Gardens is a wooden carving depicting the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, surrounded by fruit trees and flowers. Tradition says that the Virgin appeared to a gardener in Isfara during a terrible drought that threatened to destroy the orchards.
