The Feast of the Virgin
Every September, the Lebanese celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Junieh with processions, songs and fireworks. The party is a moment of unity for the Christian community.
Tradition tells us that the Virgin protects the Lebanese from the conflicts that are plaguing the country. The faithful believe that the Virgin guides and protects them.
