Marian Advocation of La Jana (Comunitat Valenciana)
Patron of La Jana since 1571, when the Virgin delivered the people from the plague. The legend tells that two pilgrims who carried the image to Sant Mateu saw their mule refuse to advance as they left the village and spontaneously return to the starting point, interpreted as a divine sign. The hermitage was built between 1767 and 1791 in Baroque illustrated classicism, next to the road CV-10 about 350 m from the village; the interior was destroyed in the Civil War.
