It is the metropolitan cathedral of the archdiocese of Windhoek, located in the center of the city. There is no public documentation on a specific image with its own account or on exvotes linked to the temple.

Sponsorship and coronation

A fully official title being that of the archdiocesan cathedral. There is no canonical coronation or civil patronage of the city beyond its status as the mother church of the archdiocese.

Party and devotion

The liturgical feast of Mary Helper is held on May 24 in the Roman calendar.
