The miracle of the sun of Fatima
On October 13, 1917, the Virgin Mary promised a miracle for the world to believe. On that day, 70,000 people gathered in the Cova da Iria, Fatima, to witness the miracle.
The miracle was witnessed by people of all ages and creeds, including journalists and skeptics. The daily O Século of Lisbon reported on the event the following day.
