In Nicaragua, it is a tradition for each family to have an image of the Virgin of the Rosary in its living room. Before sleeping, the family meets to pray the Rosary.
Grandfathers teach grandchildren to pray, and so devotion is transmitted from generation to generation. The Virgin of the Rosary is the mother who unites families.
In the difficult times, Nicaraguan families gather before the Virgin of the Rosary to ask for help and comfort.
