Origin and history

The hermit-sanctuary of Our Lady of Bethlehem rises at the entrance of Belorado, on the site of an ancient church of St. Mary of Bethlehem and a hospital of pilgrims linked to the Way of Santiago, the most solid historical base of his devotion. She's a patron of Belorado.

The image remains in the hermitage during the winter months and is then moved to the parish around San Isidro, maintaining a seasonal and processional devotion very close to the villa and its condition as a Jacobea stage.
