Party and devotion

Our Lady of Fatima is celebrated on May 13. The message of Fatima was spread in Angola shortly after 1917; on the 13th of each month, from May to October, large groups gather to pray and make processions, following the Portuguese model.

Link to the Rosary

Fatima is, par excellence, the advocation of the Rosary: the Virgin asked there to pray for peace every day. The cathedral of Luena collects that call, making the Rosary the center of its Marian devotion.
