The Cathedral of Saint Francis Xavier
The Cathedral of St. Francis Xavier in Hrodna is one of the most important Catholic churches in Belarus. Built in the 17th century, the cathedral has witnessed the history of the country and the Marian devotion of its people.
The Virgin of the Artisans
The image of Our Lady of the Artisans is a painting depicting the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, surrounded by her tools. Tradition says that the Virgin inspired the artisans of Hrodna to create beautiful works that glorified God.

Popular devotions
The faithful of Hrodna come to the cathedral to light candles for the Virgin Mary and ask for her protection. The most popular tradition is that of the "wishes of the Virgin": the faithful write their petitions on slips of paper and place them in a special box next to the image of the Virgin.
