The Virgin of Lake Issyk-Kul
The image of the Virgin of Lake Issyk- Kul is a wooden size that represents the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, surrounded by snow mountains and a crystalline lake. Tradition says that the Virgin appeared to a fisherman from Karakol during a terrible storm in Lake Issyk-Kul.
