Our Lady of the Consolation of Táriba

In the National Sanctuary Basilica of Táriba, Our Lady of Consolation, patron of the Táchira state, is sold, an Andean image whose tradition is miraculously preserved from a fire.
Origin and history
The local tradition places the arrival of the image to Táriba around 1560, when two Augustino parents would have moved it from the New Kingdom of Granada (passing through San Cristóbal). The ancient worship is supported by the manuscripts of his fellowship, and the veneration was firmly established in Táriba, whose temple was raised to basilica after a Vatican research.
She is a patron of the Táchira state, with a very popular devotion throughout the Venezuelan Andean West. His feast, on August 15, brings together crowds of Tachirans and devotees from other regions. Tradition also attributes to her having been miraculously preserved after a fire, an episode that belongs to the devotional sphere.
