Marian devotion
In TħPhong, within the Vietnamese diocese of Bħc Ninh, devotion to Our Lady of Graces is articulated around a Marian image and a center of prayer linked to the life of the local community. The tab contains what can be documented about the parish, the statue and the Marian center, separating it from the pious accounts that do not have an independent check.
Where is he?
TħPhong is located in the current city of Bħc Ninh, in the area of QuħVț. The temple of TħPhong is cartographed by OpenStreetMap in 21.1339, 106.1895; this co-ordinate corresponds to the religious building identified as Nhà thő TħPhong, not to a co-ordinate taken from memory. The community is part of the pastoral territory of the diocese of Bħc Ninh.
The location allows to distinguish this advocation from other Vietnamese images that receive similar titles. This is the image and Marian center of TħPhong, not a universal advocation moved to another place without local history.
Documented history
The diocesan history of Bħc Ninh places the existence of the parish on the historical tour of the Catholic communities of the region. The emigration of 1954 left a small group of families in TħPhong, but the community preserved Christian life for decades marked by restrictions and difficulties. This community continuity is the historical core that can be affirmed with certainty: specific families maintained the faith and memory of the place until it was possible to reconsolidate their spaces of veneration.
The diocesan source also relates contemporary devotion to the reconstruction of the statue, carried out in 1990, and to the subsequent construction of the Marian center church. The opening of this temple is the 30 September 2007. These dates describe documented works and celebrations; they should not become dates of an alleged apparition or a test of miracle.
The Marian Image and Center
The image of Our Lady of Graces is at the centre of local devotion. His presence brings together the parish community and the pilgrims who come to pray. The Marian centre of TħPhong is therefore understood as a place of Catholic worship, celebration and pilgrimage, integrated into the pastoral of the diocese of Bħc Ninh.
La denominación The Mother of Thanksgiving from Fung can be translated as Our Lady of Graces of TħPhong. The name expresses the trust of the faithful in the intercession of Mary. It does not mean that every favor attributed to the image is a miracle recognized by the Church, or that there is a pronunciation about an apparition.
Tradition and Legend
The local tradition tells that the statue would have protected the land when a cooperative intended to dig it up: according to the story, the machinery would not have been able to do the planned work. History belongs to the devotional memory of the place. The documentation consulted does not provide an independent technical file to present this episode as a proven fact or miracle.
The same prudence applies to other extraordinary accounts that can be circulated among pilgrims. The perseverance of the families that remained in TħPhong and the reconstruction of the statue are part of the documented historical context; supernatural interpretations are maintained as tradition until a specific ecclesial research is recorded.
Ecclesial State
Consta el permitted Catholic veneration in the parish and in the Marian center of the diocese of Bħc Ninh. The diocesan source relates the center to a pastoral decision of Bishop Joseph- Marie Nguyņn Quang Tuyņn. There is no decree declaring a supernatural apparition of TħPhong, nor a recognition of extraordinary accounts as miracles. This is why the fact sheet presents the existence of the cult without attributing a supernatural approval that does not appear in the sources.
Devotion and prayer
TħPhong's devotion was born from the ordinary life of a community that preserved the faith, reconstructed its image and once again had a place for celebration. Pilgrims can come to Mary as a mother and intercessor, praying for families, for those who live in difficulties and for the perseverance of Christian communities.
In praying the Rosary before this advocation, prayer is addressed to God and Mary is asked to intercede for us. The statue and the sanctuary are not the object of worship: Marian veneration leads to Christ and the sacramental life of the Church.
Sources
The diocesan history of Bħc Ninh documents the community's journey, the reconstruction of the statue and the inauguration of the Marian center. The location corresponds to OpenStreetMap, way 1448541580, which identifies the Nhà thē TħPhong. The tradition of machinery is presented as a local account, not a proven miracle.
La perseverancia de North Ning
The context of the diocese helps to understand the value of TħPhong for its faithful. The diocesan history recalls that, following the division of Vietnam in 1954, a significant part of the clergy and Catholics emigrated to the south. The communities that remained had to support Christian life with few priests and limited resources. In this context, the preservation of family prayer and the subsequent reconstruction of the spaces of veneration are not a secondary detail: they explain why a local image can become a memory of the fidelity of several generations.
The diocese also describes the role of laity trained to maintain catechesis, meetings and prayer when priestly attention was scarce. This fact illuminates the tradition of TħPhong without adorning it with extraordinary facts: the Marian center is inserted into a broader ecclesial history of perseverance, collaboration of the faithful and pastoral recovery.
