The angel of Portugal
Fatima, Portugal
Before the Virgin, an angel appeared to the shepherds to prepare them.
Place: Fatima, Portugal
Type: Apparition / Advocation
In 1916, a year before the apparitions of the Virgin, an angel appeared three times to Lucia, Francis and Jacinta. He taught them to pray and to offer sacrifices for sinners.
El ángel les dijo: «Rezad mucho. Los corazones de Jesús y María tienen designios de misericordia sobre vosotros.»
The children understood that the angel was preparing them for the apparitions of the Virgin.
Pray a lot. The hearts of Jesus and Mary have plans of mercy upon you.
