The miracle of the sun in Russia (1917)
Russia
The sun miracle related to the apparitions of Fatima and Russia.
The consecration of Russia
In 1984, Pope John Paul II consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Many believe that this consecration led to the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Tradition tells that on October 13, 1917, on the day of the sun miracle in Fatima, many Russians saw the sun dance in the sky. The faithful believe that the Virgin Mary was preparing for the liberation of Russia.
