The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Casries, built between 1894 and 1897, is famous for its naïf-style murals by the Sanlusian artist Dunstan St.. Omer, representing Marian scenes and the history of the Church in the Caribbean.

The parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of Soufrière, on the west coast of the island, is one of the oldest in Saint Lucia. Its church, built next to the homonymous volcano, is a place of Marian pilgrimage.

Our Lady of the Perpetual Relief of Vieux Fort, venerated in the parish of Vieux Fort
The parish of Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro de Vieux Fort, on the southern end of the island, serves the Catholic community of the second city of Saint Lucia. The image of the Virgin of Perpetual Relief presides over the main altar.
