Documented history

Fides News Agency documents that the Marian sanctuary of Our Lady, Mother of All Grace, was opened in Abidjan on 1 February 1987. The archdiocese maintains an institutional page of the sanctuary with its rector, contacts and information channels. These sources allow it to be placed as a stable Marian Catholic institution, without the need to attribute undocumented accounts to it.

In 2023, Vatican News reported a national day of prayer and the new consecration of Côte d'Ivoire to the Virgin Mary. The news explained that the initiative was promoted by the rectors of four great Marian shrines of the country and named among them the National Marian Sanctuary of Abiyan, Our Lady of Africa, Mother of All Grace, in Attécoubé. This data shows its place in the national network of pilgrimage and prayer.
