In Phat Diem, the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary has a cave where the faithful secretly prayed during the persecution. Tradition tells that the Virgin appeared in the cave to protect Catholics.
The faithful prayed the Rosary in the cave, knowing that the Virgin listened to them even if they were in the dark.
Today, the cave is a place of pilgrimage where the faithful will pray in silence.
In the darkness of the cave, the Virgin shines more.
