Origin and history
La iglesia de Al-Tahira («la Inmaculada») de Mosul es una antiquísima iglesia mariana cuyo origen se remonta al siglo VII; en ella se elaboró parte de la liturgia caldea. Dañada durante la ocupación yihadista, ha sido objeto de restauración como símbolo del renacer cristiano de Mosul.
