En oak (voivodato de Subcarpacia) an important sanctuary of the Missionaries of La Salette was established, which eventually became a very significant regional pilgrimage centre. The church-present sanctuary was built between 1936 y 1939later destroyed during World War II and then rebuilt. In the year 2012 received the official title of minor basilica, consolidating its importance in the pastoral and Marian life of the area.
