The image and the sanctuary

The sanctuary conserves a statue of Our Lady of Grace y destaca por su great Rosary to the libre, a prayer tour in the natural environment of the place. The whole, of a serene character and conducive to withdrawal, is a Marian shrine regional and the point of diocesan pilgrimages.

Sponsorship and coronation

No consta a patronazgo civil ni a canonical coronation documented from the image. Its relevance is that of an important pilgrimage place of the archdiocese of Toronto.

Party and devotion

The main feast of the sanctuary is the August 15, solemnidad de la Assumption of the Virgin. Devotion is lived on pilgrimages, retreats and prayer days promoted by the Augustines.

The link is especially narrow: Marylake has a great Rosary to the libre, designed for pilgrims to walk and meditate on the mysteries in nature. Our Lady of Grace thus invites, in a very concrete way, to make the Rosary the central path of the pilgrimage to the sanctuary.
