Origin and history
The Church of Our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke) of Kalundborg, early in the 13th century, is a unique five-tower church on the Greek cross floor, whose proportions have been compared to the New Jerusalem of Revelation. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is the oldest preserved brick building in Denmark.
