Our Lady of Antigua Coronada is the patron saint of Almuñécar (Granada). It is a Gothic image, approximately 45 centimeters tall, given to the city by the Catholic Monarchs during the Reconquista in 1489.

She is venerated in Almuñécar. The city has considered her its honorary mayor since 2010.
Patronage and coronation
Patron saint of Almuñécar since 1569. She was canonically crowned in 2016 by Monsignor Javier Martínez, Archbishop of Granada.
Celebration and devotion
Their religious services and festivities are celebrated from August 6th to 15th, around the Feast of the Assumption. Devotion is a defining characteristic of the town.
