The Metropolitan Cathedral of Manila, seat of the archbishop of the Philippine capital, is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, but one of its most beloved devotions is Our Lady of the Assumption, whose image presides over one of the side chapels of the temple.

Manila Cathedral, officially the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, houses a venerated image of Our Lady of the Assumption in its side chapel. Located in the historic Intramuros district, the cathedral has been rebuilt seven times since 1581, with the current structure completed in 1958 after damage sustained during World War II.
