Origin and history
The monastery of Our Lady of the Seeds (Notre-Dame des Moissons), completed in 1858 by the Caldean Patriarch Joseph VI Audo, is a spiritual center of the Caldea identity, on the Nineveh plain. He welcomed the monks of the ancient monastery of Rabban Hormizd and kept the graves of the Chaldean Patriarchs.
