The image and the sanctuary

Party and devotion
La great summer pilgrimage se celebra el August 15the Solemnity of the Assumption, in addition to the memory of Our Lady of Lourdes, the 11 February. Devotion keeps the faith of the Métis and French-Canadian communities of the meadow alive.

Like every sanctuary in Lourdes, St. John's. Laurent is attached to the Rosary: the Virgin appeared in Lourdes with the rosary in her hands. The summer pilgrimages include the prayer of Rosary before the grotto, prayer that links today's faithful with generations of settlers and indigenous peoples who prayed in this same place.
