Our Lady of Fatima in Yemen
Adén, Yemen
The few Yemeni Catholics venerate the Virgin of Fatima in hiding.
Country: Adén, Yemen
Type: Advocation / Apparition
In Aden, the small Catholic community (mainly migrants) prays to the Virgin of Fatima in their homes, as there are no official churches.
Tradition tells that the Virgin protects Christians in Yemen, a country where the practice of other religions is prohibited.
