The Holy House
The Holy House is a small stone building which, according to tradition, is the house where the Virgin Mary lived in Nazareth and where she received the Annunciation. The angels miraculously transported it from Nazareth to Loreto in 1294.
Our Lady of Loreto
The image of Our Lady of Loreto is a 14th-century cedar statue. The Virgin is invoked as the protector of aviators and people in danger.
Miracles
Over the centuries, numerous miracles have been attributed to the intercession of Our Lady of Loreto. Among them, unexplained healing, miraculous salvation and conversions.
