Coronilla for the Blessed Souls of Purgatory

Chaplet for the blessed souls in Purgatory

"Grant them, O Lord, eternal rest"

Devotion to the dead · Chaplet

Coronilla for the Blessed Souls of Purgatory

For the souls who need our prayer most

History. This coronilla belongs to the devotional tradition of moths for the souls of Purgatory, especially recommended in November (month of the deceased) and on Monday. He prays interceding for the most abandoned souls, those who have no one to pray for them.

Start

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Initial Invocation

O merciful Jesus, you who said, "Whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, He will grant you," grant us, by your precious Blood, the release of the souls of purgatory, especially those most in need and abandoned.

For every ten of the rosary

Big account:
Eternal Father, I offer you the infinite merits of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and those of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, for the suffrage of the Blessed Souls of purgatory.
Small accounts (10 times):
Merciful Jesus, give them eternal rest.

After every ten

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Conclusion

Descans and paz.
May the souls of the dead faithful, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

It is recommended to offer this crown especially for the most forgotten souls: those who have no family members who pray for them, those of the poor and marginalized, and those of those who died in sin.
