Red wool scapular from the Passion of Our Lord and from the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, revealed to Sister Apolline Andriveau.
Documented history and memory received
The Vincentian family retains the tradition of the Red Scapular of Passion associated with Sister Apolline Andriveau in Troyes and a 19th century authorization. The visionary experience is private revelation and the object, when used legitimately, is help of piety. The weekly promise of greater virtues is not presented as an automatic mechanism or reproduced as a binding formula.
Who venerates the memory
The look is directed to Jesus Christ and to the mystery of his Incarnation, Passion, Death, Resurrection or Reign. The image, relic, monument or custom does not act by its own power: it serves the memory of the Gospel and leads to prayer, sacraments, conversion and charity.
History, tradition and discernment
Tradition of private and sacramental revelation; no promise is presented as an automatic effect. The tab retains the memory received without turning legend, witness or believing interpretation into a historically demonstrated fact.
Celebration and devotional life
Festivity or main time: without own liturgical date documented in the main source.
No protection, indulgence, healing or automatic favor is guaranteed. Devotion is lived in freedom, within the liturgy, the sacraments, conversion and charity.
