Novena to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Nueve días de oración para apelar directamente al Corazón de la Virgen María, en el que ella «guardaba todas estas cosas y las meditaba» (Lc 2, 19). Su memoria litúrgica se celebra el sábado siguiente al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús (que cae en junio, tras el Corpus Christi); por eso la novena suele terminar en esa fecha. Puede rezarse también en cualquier momento.
Cómo se reza cada día: la señal de la Cruz → el acto de contrición → la oración inicial → la oración propia del día → cinco Avemarías → las deprecaciones → la oración final.

Dios y Señor mío: dignaos aceptar esta novena que hago al Corazón de María, vuestra celestial Madre; y Vos, Virgen Santa, alcanzadme la gracia necesaria. [Se menciona la petición que se quiere hacer.] Amén.

1. O Heart of Mary, have mercy on the unbelievers; awaken the indifferent; give a hand to the desperate; convert the blasphemers and profaners of the days of the Lord. Hail Mary.
2. O Heart of Mary, increase the faith of the people; foster piety; sustain truly Catholic families; extinguish the hatred and vengeance that consume the world. Hail Mary.
3. O Heart of Mary, save the worldly; purify the dishonest; bring back to the right path so many victims of vice and error. Hail Mary.
4. O Heart of Mary, convert all sinners in the Church; guide employers and workers; enlighten with heavenly light evil writers and rulers; sanctify bad Catholics. Hail Mary.
5. O Heart of Mary, raise up many holy priests and missionaries to work for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of souls throughout the world, and grant us all final perseverance in the holy love and fear of God. Amen. Hail Mary.
